Ethan Arrowood is a software engineer at Harper and an open-source contributor with a focus on performance, stability, and developer experience. Since 2016, he has played a key role in projects like Node.js, Undici, and Fastify, contributing to Fetch in Node.js, Undici, and TypeScript support for key libraries.

An active member of OpenJS Foundation and WinterTC organizations, Ethan helps shape web standards and runtime interoperability. He’s also a frequent conference speaker, sharing insights on topics like Fetch in Node.js and the future of web runtimes.

Outside of tech, he’s a certified ski instructor at Breckenridge Resort and enjoys hiking, powerlifting, and chess. He lives in Summit County, CO, with his dog, Lincoln.
